The Cinnamon Care Collection are proud to be opening their first care village in  Hextable, Kent.  

Emerson Grange is a stunning brand new 85-bedroom care home that will provide the most luxurious surroundings and the very best care and support. As part of the development there are also 47 luxurious retirement apartments - Emerson Park -  which will have access to the range of first-class village facilities.

We will be providing restaurant quality food and service for our residents whilst also catering for the Club Lounge open exclusively for our Apartment owners  and their visitors.  

We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef who is both energetic and passionate about providing exceptional food. Working from a variety of menus created by the Head Chef, you will ensure that mealtimes are a highlight of our residents’ days by ordering, preparing and serving appetizing freshly produced food, from local suppliers where possible, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety.

Job Requirements

Working in a spacious, exceptionally well equipped kitchen, you will need to be hard working, concientous and reliable. Our Head Chef is looking for someone who has at least 2 years' catering experience, ideally Sous Chef/or experienced Chef de Partie level with NVQ 2/3.

You will need to have the passion to work with the catering team showcasing innovative and fine dining standard of food. You will be mentored and trained further by the Head Chef and encouraged to contribute to the kitchen's ideas and menus. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who really wants to work somewhere where their ideas are welcomed and considered. Standards of cooking within this home are exceptionally high and creative.
